Discussion 5 – Intensity

We often talk about the fact that CrossFit focuses on high intensity workouts at a shorter duration rather than a longer workout at a lower intensity. A major component of a CrossFit workout is figuring out what intensity you can handle and getting to that level during your workout. Perception of what is intense will be different between each individual and that is why CrossFit is scaled. We call this “relative intensity”.
