Why Chad, if I didn’t know any better, I’d think you were trying to pick someone’s nerves!!!
I especially love the caption under the photo of the woman SITTING in the machine, “The quick exercise routines offer the benefits of longer workouts by using high intensity on specialized machines.”
High intensity = sitting and relying on machines. I think they’d benefit more from learning to ride a unicycle while balancing a cup of coffee on their nose.

I have to admit – just out of curiosity, I’d like to try it once to see just what it does. I noticed there’s an ad in the Examiner – don’t know if you get it in St. Albert (ad is on page right next to Jen’s swimwear ad if you do) – for a place in Edmonton with the equipment. It says there’s a two week free trial period. Maybe we should all sign up. Just imagine what improvements we could all see!

I would suggest a clapping push up, to make up for the intensity lost on range of motion. ED

Just read the CTV article. I like the idea of 6 minutes of exercise per week!
Maybe we should investigate if there is a cert we can all sign up for. Start at 8am, run our Saturday class of 20 people through it, then off to Tim Horton’s for coffee and donuts.

You know they even say the upper body workout from the machine closely ressembles rowing….. sooooo… why not row then? Save $14000? Not only that, but the only guy with credentials that is quoted in the article says that intense training is benificial in many ways and requires no special equipment…. NO special equipment. Not $15000 worth of highly specialized equipment.

Bit of my own variation, 3 rounds of:
50 squats
60 lb cleans
15 toe assisted ring dips
All sets unbroken!
Something changed in my squats – I all of a sudden relaxed in the knees on the way down and put much less stress on them. I could then feel my lower back pulling me back up again.
