hspu’s with 2 ab mats 1st 1-2 rounds, then added 5 lb plate-need to work on full depth so that I touch the mat each time
pu’s-did 3 strict, rest with black band, did 5-6 in l-position, same with tuck, and then the rest just strict with the band
felt like my head was gonna explode after that wod

At 30 mins got to the middle. (7’s)
Subsituded press for HSPU, started at 55lbs for first 5, then took ten off and used just the 45 lbs bar. Needed lots of rest. Tried resting 10 sec between single reps, could do, double or more with longer rests.
Used the creme band for the few pull ups that I did. Tried L position with the band. Felt like I still needed a little swing at the bottom to get started, so definalely not strict pull ups.

green band for all pull ups until the last set then moved to the blue band and still struggled, arms totally fried by then

1, 3, & 5 pullups with legs tucked in.
Rest with green band and one leg straight out.
Felt really good today, I love the HSPU’s.
Next time try with 2 ab mats.
John your face looks as flat as a pancake in that picture.

hspu with 2 ab mats and 2 – 10 lb plates and some with 3 ab mats
pull ups with purple + thin white band (knee tucked most of the time)
Didn’t finish the WOD but today, I don’t care… the good thing is I was actually able to do the hspu for the first time since injuring my hamstring mid October – only felt it tweak a little bit! Had to psych myself up before each handstand, but was determined to do them today no matter how long it took. I actually like handstands even though I am scared of them now.

Really enjoyed the HSPUs, pullups need a lot of work.

last round of 15 LSPU’s got pretty sloppy, using leg swing to hit the top, but finished. Work on form.
