Inter City Challenge: This Saturday CrossFit Lineage is hosting the first ever Inter City Challenge. It’s a chance for all Crossfitters of Edmonton to come out and enjoy a little friendly competition. The event will start at 11am. We will be leaving as a group from CrossFit Edmonton by 10:30. Be at our facility by 10 if you are planning on coming. Please let us know in comments if you plan to attend so we can get an idea on numbers to ensure we have enough equipment.

I thought I replied last night but clearly it didn’t work. My suggestion would be Tape, Bands, or Rings.

OHS unbroken – easy & not enough of a rest between the brutality of the pullups 🙂
pullups – although excruciatingly slow, actually felt really good about them today. Did some with band & some without, but can get chin over the bar most of the time, especially with a good swing. Tend to revert back to stiffening up & pulling up when fatigued. Focus on relaxing, getting good swing & pulling in rather than up – much easier when these things come together.

Ripped my freshly healed hand again with Pu’s (black and then purple band)
Throw in some pushups and this would be my Goat WOD!

Time was 23:13. I used a 45lb bar and the rings for pull-ups. The OHS started to feel smooth. I did the pull-ups like its nobodies business on the rings….I want to be ready to get promoted!!! My 2nd week and it is good times!

On the brighter 🙂 side, I just checked my previous time on this WOD and I was over 3 minutes faster and Rx’d this time (only 50 lb OHS last time). Chad, all those OHS squats I had to do when I was late for class may actually be paying off!!
Oh, and note to self . . . what a difference it makes when keeping arms fully locked out, my wrists didn’t seem to hurt as much.
