Bit of a goat wod – weighted pull ups not my strongest suit.
Was going great and then all of a sudden just tanked – didn’t know that was coming. Not so much ran out of time as ran out of strength – the bar just was not going up anymore and that was that. Got to 2 pull ups + 7 presses. Spent close to the last 5 mins stuck on that round of presses. Argh!

Was on 2 pullups at 30 min. mark.
Did up to end of 7’s unbroken on presses. Last round of 10’s took probably 3 or more minutes. Did singles for the last 5 just to get them done. Got chin over bar on all reps. Had wanted to do kipping pu’s instead just to work on them, but Chad wouldn’t let me – ended up being glad about this as I haven’t really been doing any strict pu’s since kipping pu’s became my holy grail. They didn’t feel too bad.

Definitely a tough WOD, but I loved it!! Will add this to my list of favorites. Great job both Tania & Chad.

40:51 Tough WOD – I seem to have cleared a couple of mental hurdles and PR’s
Amazed myself and did 2 kipping pull-ups in set-up!! – so did 8 in round 1 until Chad told me to use the black band to get my chin over bar
70 lbs press new PR (65lbs) until round 10 then 65 (because I still would be there)
Thanks to all who stayed late and pushed me on and Chad for not calling me on the shoulder dips

15 lbs for reps 4 – 1.
Attempted 25 lbs, but no way that was gonna happen.
Some pull ups also short of chin over the bar.

45 lb pullups for 10 and 9 then switched to 35 lbs up until three when I went with no weight just to get this done. Presses were Rx’d at 115 lbs. As far as time…..I would say glacial…..can we measure WOD’S in eons? To top it all off I showed up at nine because apparently I have trouble following directions.

Figured out a bit of a kip with the kettle bell by 3rd round. Would like to try with a vest. Though WOD but loved it! OHP is a Goat for me. It was slow going but felt good.

Needed green band for strict pull ups, figured that out in the second round (9). First round was with black band but needed to pseudo kip. Press was killer today. Left shoulder was sore and weird feeling. Had about 30 seconds left to start the 9 for press but I failed twice, put it down and tried one last one and failed. No more ATP left in my arms, anyone know where you can get somemore?
Oh, I almost forgot, Sandra and Galina were amazing this morning. The fact that you can do any strict pull ups with weights is inspiring. When I was resting during press, I was in awe of you too fabulously strong ladies!

I believe that some of these accomplishments are thanks to you Karen. Shoulder feeling really good after 2 weeks of adjustments. When the body is feeling good you really can work through the mental blocks!
