30 lb. db push presses
Did limited ROM HSPU’s last time, so switched to db presses as per Chad’s suggestion. Strength-wise, harder than the HSPU’s. Deadlifts unbroken. Keep working on shoulder flexibility to really get head through in presses (part of issue with kip swing as well) – getting lockout, but work on getting db’s farther back.

Interesting note to self. About 4-5 minutes faster than last time, and didn’t go down to the 35lb db’s. Might be an improvement.

Did it with 2 ab mats and the 5lbs wieght. First time ever doing a HSPU. Liked them.

2 ab mats for first 11 hspu, then went to three for rest of first set and 2nd set, went back down to 2 ab mats for third set after watching Aaron struggle without any ab mats. Nice job aaron.
